When travel accommodations fell through at the last minute, we spent a night at Mom's Montlake Motel in Chelan. It's clean and comfortable, and quite simply charming. The manager is friendly, helpful, and helped us feel right at home. The accommodations are basic, and the price very reasonable. First of all the name "Mom's Motel" doesn't describe it well.

Located in Chelan, Lake Chelan Shores provides free WiFi and lake views, 3.7 mi from Slidewaters. About $99 plus tax for 1 or 2 guests. Mom's Montlake Motel features 10 clean and quiet non-smoking rooms.
